Meet Brock Kelly
Founder of Twigs and Trunks Professional Tree Service
Brock Kelly started Twigs and Trunks with a straightforward belief: property owners in the Kawartha Lakes deserve honest advice, quality workmanship, and a tree service company they can actually trust.
A graduate of the Urban Forestry program at Fleming College, Brock built his career the right way, working alongside established tree care companies before taking on a role with Hydro One, where safety standards and precision weren’t suggestions, they were requirements.
That environment shaped the way he approaches every job, from a routine hedge trim to a complex hazardous tree removal.
When Brock launched Twigs and Trunks, he wasn’t chasing a market opportunity. He was filling a gap he’d seen firsthand: too many property owners receiving vague assessments, inconsistent service, and recommendations driven by the upsell rather than the tree. He wanted to change that.
As a husband and father living in the Kawartha Lakes community, Brock understands what it means to have a safe outdoor space. He knows the difference between a tree that needs attention and one that’s fine to leave alone. He’ll tell you which is which, even when the honest answer is the simpler one.
Every job Twigs and Trunks takes on carries that same commitment: show up on time, do the work properly, treat the property with respect, and leave the site cleaner than you found it. That standard doesn’t change based on job size.
Fully insured and backed by formal training and real-world experience, Twigs and Trunks is the kind of local company that builds its reputation one property at a time, and intends to keep it that way.
